What is
Fatigue? |
 |
|
Fatigue is something every
human being has experienced at some point in lives. It is a
problem to get out of bed and even when you do, it feels
like you could die of exhaustion if you do not have a nap in
the afternoon. And the more you sleep, the more tired you
feel. |
|
Symptoms of
Fatigue |
|
Sometimes stress can be the
cause of fatigue, if you are rushed on your feet and under
constant stress it means even when you slow down you cannot
relax. Eventually lack of relaxation will wear you down.
Lack of sleep is another common cause, be it that you go to
sleep late, wake up earlier in the morning or you are unable
to get decent, uninterrupted sleep. It can all lead to lower
energy levels and drowsiness.
Lack of proper nutrition as well as dehydration can lead to
fatigue as your body will be lacking fluids and the
essential nutrients it needs to function at its optimum. |

What cause fatigue?
If you're running from one task to the next without a break,
it's eventually going to wear you down. Going through life
anxious and on edge can keep you from relaxing and getting
the rest you need.
If you're not eating properly or drinking enough fluids,
your body isn't getting the fuel and fluid it needs. Trying
to remedy this with caffeine can backfire, especially if you
consume it late in the day. Caffeine not only makes it
harder to fall asleep, it also interferes with sound sleep
and may keep you tossing and turning throughout the night. |

Some medications, including many beta blockers and
antihistamines, can cause fatigue. In addition, some cold
medications and pain relievers contain caffeine and other
stimulants that can keep you up at night. |
